備えよ常に（ボーイスカウトのモットー）
これもNHKラジオの「実践ビジネス英語」で学んだ言葉です。何度か出てきたと思いますが、テキスト2011年5月号の説明をご紹介させていただきます。
Be Prepared. 備えよ常に。
ボーイ・スカウトの有名なモットー。「いつなん時、いかなる場所で、いかなることが起こった場合でも善処できるように、常々準備を怠ることなかれ」という意味である。そうした状態のことを preparedness （備えができていること、覚悟）と呼ぶ。
